Perfect for the traveller with limited time in Cappadocia, this private tour will take you to the major highlights of Cappadocia. After being collected from your hotel your first stop will be Uçhisar Castle, you will climb the inside of the old castle to reach the top where you will have spectacular views of surrounding Pigeon Valley, over Göreme and all the way out to Rose and Red valleys. After this photo opportunity you will travel south to the largest underground city in Cappadocia, Kaymaklı, marvelling at the numerous halls, churches and cellars that were once occupied by entire communities. This tour includes a local lunch. The afternoon begins with a visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum where you will visit the many rock churches of Old Göreme. The open air museum houses some of the best preserved Christian frescoes from the 8th through to the 13th centuries. Afterward visit the famous Hititte Pottery center of Avanos before continuing through Devrent valley and Paşabağ, where you will see numerous variations of rock formations from a camel through to mushrooms. Spend the afternoon in Ürgüp tasting the local wines from the Cappadocia region before being returned to your hotel.
